President: Eric Muscat (KPMG)Eric Muscat is a Partner with KPMG and is responsible for its IT Assurance and IT Advisory practice. He is a member of the Institute for the Management of Information Systems and a CISA. He is also a certified lead auditor for BS25999 – Business Continuity Management. Eric has been active in various IT-related professional organisations for many years and currently serves as president of the ISACA MALTA Chapter.  Vice President: Vladimiro Comodini (RSM Malta) Vladimiro Comodini, a Partner with RSM Malta heads the back office and IT Assurance Team. He has been involved within the IT sector for the past 5 years. Vladimiro has extensive experience, both locally and overseas in IT implementations, support services, process re-engineering and automation. Vladimiro is a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor (CPAA), CISA and SAP Certified. Vladimiro currently serves as the Vice President of the ISACA MALTA Chapter. Gian Carlo Millo is an Internal Auditor with FIMBank Plc, specializing in IT audits. Prior to this role, he held accounting and auditing positions with KPMG and Portman International respectively. Gian Carlo is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds an MBA (Finance) from the University of Leicester. Gian Carlo became a Board Member of the ISACA Malta Chapter in July 2010 and currently serves as Secretary. Treasurer: Anthony Formosa (Bank of Valletta plc)
Anthony Formosa is the Information and Data Protection Officer at Bank of Valletta plc since July 2007. Before this position he served in the IT Audit unit at the Bank's Internal Audit Service Dept for 12 years. During these 12 years he was also responsible for the IT Audit unit for the last 7 years. Anthony acquired the CISA in 1997 and was also instrumental in the setting up of the ISACA Malta Chapter since 2003. He has been a Board member since the Chapter's inception and served as Secretary until June 2010. He is currently treasurer of the chapter. Besides this Board position Anthony is also a member of various committees in the chapter mainly the newsletter, nominations & elections, bylaws and website committees. Anthony is also the Certification Coordinator of the Malta Chapter. Director - Dr. Robert Michael Cachia (Government of Malta, and University of Malta) Robert (http://www.linkedin.com/in/robertmcachia) has cross-functional and multi-disciplinary experience in Software Development, Data Centre, and IT Call Centre environments with critical service, quality, and information security requirements. Robert worked in Malta and in Italy, and is currently Director of the ISACA Malta Chapter, IT Governance Manager, and part-time Visiting Senior Lecturer at the University of Malta where he teaches, designs courseware, and sits on final degree classification boards. Robert occasionally addresses business people, IT Managers and technical practitioners e.g. for professional associations such as ISACA Malta, and the BCS Malta Section. Robert holds a doctorate in Computer Science / Software Engineering from the University of Milan, and an elective Fellowship from the Chartered Quality Institute, UK. Director - Ivo Galea (Air Malta)
Ivo Galea is Air Malta’s Information Security Manager since January 2008. Prior to this role, he was the Group Information Technology Director at Maltacom plc for 5 years. Ivo obtained his Masters Degree in Information Technology and Management in 1999 from Sheffield Hallam University. He also obtained Chartered Professional (CITP) status from the BCS in 2006 and CGEIT status from ISACA in 2008.  Director & Immediate Past President: Gordon Micallef (PricewaterhouseCoopers) Gordon Micallef is a senior manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers and has been involved in the IT assurance and IT governance practice of the firm for the past nine years. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), CISA and CGEIT. Gordon served as president of the ISACA MALTA Chapter. from July 2008 until June 2010. He has been involved with the chapter since its formation in 2003 and has been a board member since the chapter was officially set up in 2005. He is currently serving as a member of the chapter support committee with ISACA international.
